The DELMADE Heavy Duty Flat Roller / Paddock Roller / Field Roller is a versatile implement available in a range of widths and diameters to suit every application. Manufactured from extra heavy wall steel pipe and using a heavy-duty RHS frame, the weight can be increased by filling the cylinder with water.
The DELMADE Flat Roller is used to press rocks into the ground, and level out turf clumps or soil clods for smoother pasture, especially in heavy traffic areas where stock have pugged up the surface. Seedbed can also be rolled down, firming up the soil for better moisture retention and seed germination.

Very happy with the machine. Very happy with the quality of the finish and how it's built. Does a great job. I’m very happy with it. Does what I wanted it to do saving me from bending over and picking up stones smaller than cricket balls regardless of the conditions. No issues with it whatsoever.
Why did you choose Delmade a Tasmanian company?
You were the only guys that were making anything that was of sufficient enough weight and that was also manoeuvrable. I had a look at some other brands, and they were a big heavy roller but, you can’t move them, and they are too wide. The Delmade machine is just more practical. I found it by looking at the internet and there is just nothing else out there in the market.

I really don’t have negative feedback, I can’t fault it! Works well and it's very well constructed.

I think a lot of Delmade's gear is market leading
I found both machines were well designed to be fit for purpose and good to maintain and should be good for decades of service. And Australian made. I think a lot of Delmade's gear is market leading. They have a good website to compare and get information. Don't be put off by how far they are away. They will make it work. Acceptable lead times and Australian made and made to last.

It's more about stopping it than pulling it. If you've got hills and slopes and wet grass, we don't take every situation into consideration on the website. It's more about trying to stay in control of it rather than it becoming in control of you.
You're probably looking at something around our 24 inch roller. You'd get away with a 24 easy enough because they are water fillable as well if you wanted extra weight.
Yes. They're water fillable if you wanted extra weight. That gives you the flexibility to increase the weight when needed.
That really comes down to your setup and how you want to use it. A standalone roller gives you flexibility because you can use it separately for jobs like flattening pugged ground as well as behind the seeder.
We do both. Depending where you are, we can refer you to one of our local dealers, otherwise we can sell direct as well.
They are fine to tow. A normal (with no wheels) roller will tow fine on the road, you just don't want to go fast.
It's enough weight to do crop work.
You wouldn't want too much more weight than a 30 inch to do crop work as a rule, depending on your ground.
