Step 1 of 4
Duty
Choose what duty disc plough you require.
There are three available duties:
Light Duty
Medium Duty
Heavy Duty
Extra Heavy Duty
Light Duty
- Weight: Under 80kg Per Plate

Medium Duty
- Weight: Between 80kg and 100kg Per Plate
- Suited to: Primary and secondary cultivation tasks, will handle tougher conditions like rock, blind tree roots, stumps. Ideal for larger farms. Rigid models only.
Heavy Duty
- Weight: Between 100kg and 180kg Per Plate
- Suited to: Primary cultivation in virgin country like ex-forestry or mining operations. Folding models for contractors or large landholders. Break new ground, wider models suited to finishing.

Step 2 of 4
Configuration
There are two available configurations:
Rigid
Folding
Rigid
- Rigid units don’t fold to decrease the transport width. Transport width will depend on working width. Smaller models are narrower for a narrow transport width and are suited to road transport. Larger models will have a wide transport width and will not generally not suited for frequent transport on roads.
Folding
- Folding units fold to decrease the transport width. Transport width is narrower than working width. These models are suited to regular transport both behind the tractor and on trucks and on the road. The folding mechanism will keep the load narrower making it easier to comply with road transport width regulations.
Step 3 of 4
No. of Plates (Working Width)
No. of plates directly correlates to working width. However, when selecting the number of plates bear in mind that your new disc plough may not have the same working width as your old disc plough even if they have the same number of plates.
This is because different manufacturers have different spacings between the disc plates meaning that some discs will be wider or narrower.
You can check out the provided specification flyers to check the working width and no. of plates on the Offset Disc.
